Linet Kwamboka – Founder, DataScience LTD

She has been on the forefront of coordinating the Kenya Open Data Initiative and the Open Government Partnership for the Government of Kenya and the World Bank (World Bank Spot Award recipient).

Linet has been a Software Engineer with Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University. Linet has an under-graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi among other self taught qualifications especially in GIS and data analysis and mining tools within the MIT Open Course Ware program, with a keen focus on the awareness of using data for business intelligence, decision making and resource allocation.

She is a recognized unsung hero by the American Embassy in Kenya in her efforts to encourage more women into the technology and computing space.











Moses Biketi - Software Engineer

He holds a Bsc Computer Science degree from Egerton University. He is passionate about Web and Mobile development. Keen on changing IT technologies.










Olive Mugeri – Software Engineer

She is an undergraduate student in BSc. Computer Science at the University of Nairobi. She is passionate about problem solving and software development. She has been at the forefront in intervention programs for the youth in forums such as the Mwea Classic Marathon Initiative and mentorship programs in primary and secondary schools. She likes to read and listen to good music.










Vincent Agan – Research Lead

Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science degree.  He has a background in Mathematics with a flair for Analytical, Research, and Statistical type functions. Previously, he has served in the roles of Quality Assurance and Monitoring and Evaluation in the NGO sector.

Currently, the Research and Analytics Lead at DataScience LTD, he is keen on seeking new and available data; discovering trends and patterns in the said data; and the use of such information to improve business outcomes and overall decision making.

A sports enthusiast at heart, Vincent retains a strong desire to make a worthwhile contribution in advancements in the field of Sports Analytics in Kenya.










Sylvester Ndung’u – UX Designer

He has a good background in user interface design and interaction. He holds a degree in Computer Information Systems. He plays a major role on the final image of any products the company releases. He has a passion for photography and likes skating.










Doreen Muthoni Linus - Accountant

She is an accountant by profession, certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – ACCA. She has been responsible for setting up and directing accounting departments, system reviews, financial reporting and analysis for public and private corporation businesses.
