On 11th April 2020, I had my daughter, Lucca. Being a data nerd always craving to be informed by data, I decided to track her new life’s activities that included nursing, sleeping, diapers and growth (after doctor visits).
A few years ago, a friend bought me the book ‘The Human Face of Big Data’ and after reading this book, I was very inspired to track a lot of things about me and when my little girl came along, I knew I had to also track her growth, too. My goal was to track this for as long as possible but after 9 months, not only did things become more predictable and routine, but the app I was using (Baby+ by Phillips Avent) became a little too buggy. It is still not fixed, unfortunately.
Lucca turned a year old a few days ago and my goal was to publish this data on her 1st birthday (with the hopes that she would be sleeping through the night by now but you win some and you learn some :)!)
